What data does SubZap store?

SubZap is committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your personal data secure.
We only store data that is necessary for providing the service, including:

• Your Account

  If you create an account, we will store only information directly shared with us. This includes your email address and preferences such as site theme and language.

• Your Subtitles

  Subtitles are automatically stored if you register for an account and use paid services, such as Translation & Transcription, otherwise they are deleted after processing and downloading to your device.

If you do not create an account, no data is stored on our servers.

Where is the data stored?

If you register for an account, your account information and subtitle files are stored in the European Union.

How are payments processed?

All payments are securely processed by Stripe, a global payment processor, and Polar, our merchant of record.
SubZap does not have access to your payment information.
